After successful last year edition of TOMO tournament, we are excited to announce the date and procedure for the live draw of TOMO 2026 tournament.
To determine the groups of U12 and U14 categories we will conduct the live draw. It will be broadcasted on our YouTube channel. The draw will take place at the Valamar Lacroma Hotel, in Dubrovnik, Croatia on Sunday, 1st of March at 17 h CET.
In the U14 category, 36 teams, divided into nine groups of four, will compete for the title. The first in each group will reach the best of 16, as well as best seven second-ranked teams, while the others will continue the competition in the fight for remaining places.
We divided 36 teams into four pots by nine teams based on two criteria. The first one is time of the arrival of the team in Dubrovnik, and the second one is based on the countries from which the clubs come from.
In the first pot are: CN Poble Nou, Onda Forte, CN Barcelona, SC Quinto 1921, Lazio Nuoto, Roma Vis Nova, Rapallo Nuoto, Jug Adriatic osiguranje and KPK.
In the second pot are: Olympic Roma, SSS Nr4 Gh. Osipov, Düsseldorfer SC, Bayerischer Schwimmverband, Jadran m:tel, PVK Budućnost One, VPK Primorac, PVK Mladost Bijela, VPK Aquatic Verde.
The third pot includes: Dinamo Tbilisi – A team, Dinamo Tbilisi – B team, SV Cannstatt, HAVK Mladost, Olympic Talent Team, Dinamo Bucuresti – A team, Dinamo Bucuresti – B team, VK Ljubljana Slovan, Olimpic Club.
In the fourth pot are: Rari Nantes Bologna, 2000 Pallanuoto Bologna, Ekipe Orizzonte, Novi Beograd Tehnomanija, VK Vojvodina, Slavia UK Bratislava, XBS, Shadow Water Polo Club, CN Marseille.
Firstly drawn team will take the place A1, the second drawn B1, etc. We will follow the same principle when drawing other pots.
In the U12 category, 26 teams, divided into six groups of three and two groups of four, will compete for the title. The two most successful in each group will reach the Best of 16, while the others will continue the competition in the fight for the 17th – 26th place.
We have 26 clubs into three pots – pot 1 and pot 2 consisting of eight teams, and pot 3 with 10 teams – based on two criteria. The first one is time of the arrival of the team in Dubrovnik, and the second one is based on the countries from which the clubs come from.
In the first pot are: Olympic Roma, Lazio Nuoto, Roma Vis Nova, CN Premia, Ranieri Impiantistica C.N Posillipo, CN Barcelona, Bayerischer Schwimmverband, Győri Vízisport Egyesület.
The second pot includes: KPK, Jug Adriatic osiguranje, Gusar Mlini, HAVK Mladost, Primorac, Jadran m;tel, Budućnost, Mladost Bijela.
In the third pot are: CN Marseille, Dinamo Tbilisi, Rari Nantes Florentia, Ekipe Orizzonte, ITU GVO SK, Rari Nantes Bologna, Dinamo Bucuresti, Olimpic Club, Novi Beograd Tehnomanija, VK Valis.
We will first draw the pot 3 for positions A4, E4 and then 3rd positions in every group. Afterwards, pot 2 for 2nd positions, and from pot 1 for the 1st positions in respective groups.
