Rari Nantes Bologna
This is the oldest swimming and water polo club in Bologna. Established in 1946, it has had many athletes of national and international significance militate in its ranks throughout its history.
Among them Dante Rossi, national water polo player, Olympic champion in Rome in 1960; Gianni De Magistris and Paolo Casanova national water polo players; Paola Sabbatini, Melania Grego, Monica Vaillant and Manuela Zanchi, European world and Olympic women’s water polo champions. More recently Adrian Muntean, national water polo player from Romania and currently coach of Rari Nantes Bologna.
For almost 80 years we have been a reference point for water polo in Bologna, both in the men’s and women’s fields, where in addition to the youth sector we have first teams that are the expression of what our movement is all about.
Rari Nantes Bologna will participate for the first time in this year edition of TOMO Tournament in the U12 and U14 categories.
