Pescara nuoto e pallanuoto

Pescara nuoto e pallanuoto (english: Pescara swimming and water polo club) is a professional water polo club based in Pescara, Italy. Water polo in Pescara has a tradition rooted in time and success.

Inspired by the ideas of Gabriele Pomilio, between the 80s and 90s this sport gave the whole city first national and then international prominence: the 1987 Treble with Championship, Champions Cup and European Super Cup; the championships of the 90s and the European cups; the presence of more than 10 Olympic gold medalists who played on the team.

After the difficult period linked to the Coronavirus, today Pescara Water Polo plays in the men’s Serie A2 championship, regained in July 2022 with the victory in the play-offs after renouncing the category in July 2020. In October 2022 the club was taken over by entrepreneur Stefania Scolta, just on the eve of the new competitive season. Now the goal is to look forward, to try to bring the blue and white colors back to the glories of a distant time, but still very much alive in the memory of all the Pescara fans. The first step is undoubtedly the maintenance of the category, which must represent the basis on which to build new successes.

This club will make its debut at the TOMO Tournament this year and will compete in U14 category.
